PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Authorities in Delaware County are seeking two suspects accused of having a gun when they robbed the driver of an armored car on Tuesday afternoon.
The Delaware County District Attorney’s Office said two people armed with long guns assaulted the driver of an armored Brinks truck and left with the driver’s firearm and an undetermined amount of cash.
The robbery happened in front of the AutoZone on 9th Street in Chester, according to the D.A.’s Office.
At this point in the investigation, officials say the suspects drove off in a Nissan Pathfinder that had a laminated paper Pennsylvania tag that read “LLN-2328.”

Investigators say there is a black border around the tag, and the SUV has black rims and a rack on the roof. The DA’s Office says they believe the car can be frequently seen in areas of Darby Township and Chester.
The office has released surveillance images of the suspects, hoping to draw tips from the public.
