NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — "The Dr. Oz Show" is calling it quits after 13 seasons so host Mehmet Oz can pursue a run for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania as a Republican candidate.

The last episode of "Dr. Oz" will air on Jan. 14, 2022, distributor Sony Pictures Television announced on Monday.
Oz announced his run for Senate last month.
"Dr. Oz" will be replaced by "The Good Dish," a food-focused show co-hosted by his daughter, "The Chew" vet Daphne Oz, as well as Gail Simmons and Jamika Pessoa.

“The Good Dish” will launch on Jan. 17 in more than 90% of the U.S., including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia and Dallas.
