PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man was injured in a drive-by shooting not far from Temple University's campus Wednesday night.
It happened shortly after 11 p.m. near 16th Street and Susquehanna Avenue, about two blocks north of Temple's athletic fields.
Police said the 27-year-old victim was shot in the hip. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition but is now stable.
The school sent out an alert to students telling them to avoid the area.
Police said the shots came from inside a white sedan, but so far they have not made any arrests.
