PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man was critically injured in a hit-and-run Friday morning.
Police say the 49-year-old was struck by an unknown vehicle at the intersection of 21st Street and Allegheny Avenue around 12:15 a.m. The car then fled the scene.
Officers found the man on the road with injuries to his head and leg. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
