PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Pennsylvania health officials are reporting another possible measles exposure, this time in Lebanon County.
The state Department of Health said someone who tested positive may have exposed others at the Target store on Quentin Road in Lebanon.
Health officials are urging anyone who was in the store on Oct. 23 between 5 and 8 p.m. to check their vaccination status and monitor for symptoms.
There have been at least five confirmed measles-related deaths — including two infants — among nearly 1,400 cases across Pennsylvania so far this year.
Lancaster County has the most cases in Pennsylvania with 487, according to the state’s count, followed by 198 in Mifflin County and 93 in Chester County.
This is the worst outbreak the U.S. has seen in decades. Health officials continue to urge people to get the MMR vaccine to protect against the disease.
