PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are investigating an e-bike crash in Northeast Philadelphia that left the rider seriously injured.
It happened just before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Police said an unidentified man on an electric bike slammed into the side of a silver Toyota Corolla at Cottman and Brous avenues in the city’s Mayfair neighborhood.
He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, with head trauma and internal injuries.
The 23-year-old man driving the Corolla and his 22-year-old female passenger were not hurt.
