PHILADELPHIA (WIP Sportsradio) — The Carson Wentz banner is down, and in its place is a picture of the team’s Super Bowl trophy.

The banner went up on Tuesday at Lincoln Financial Field.

SkyForce10 footage shows a zoomed-in shot of the banner, depicting the trophy held by Nick Foles on the podium after the game. Foles was the Super Bowl MVP, beating Tom Brady and the New England Patriots by delivering one of the best Super Bowls ever played by a quarterback.

According to a source, the new artwork is about celebrating a legendary accomplishment in Eagles history with Lombardi Trophy, not about who’s holding it. The illustrious photo shows the team winning its first Super Bowl.

Many fans have complained this offseason about the large banner of Wentz that remained on the side of the Linc, despite the fact that he was traded to the Indianapolis Colts back in March.

Now, with training camp right around the corner, the Wentz banner is down — and a reminder of what this team is capable of accomplishing is in it’s place.
