UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (KYW Newsradio) — A Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver was robbed and assaulted at gunpoint early Friday morning, according to Maryland authorities.
Police told our partners at NBC 10 that Zach Pascal was the victim in his hometown of Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. Two suspects held the 28-year-old at gunpoint and demanded his belongings.
Pascal was treated for minor injuries at the scene and is expected to physically recover. Police have not revealed what was taken, nor have they made any arrests at this time.
