PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The Eagles Super Bowl Parade won’t be until Friday — Valentine’s Day, which means fans have four days this week to get their new Super Bowl champion merch for the Birds.
If the droves of Eagles faithful at Rally House in Springfield or the Eagles Pro Shop in South Philly to get their merch on Monday were any indication, fans aren’t waiting to get their Super Bowl merch.
Cyndy Harmon, sales lead at Rally House in Springfield, said there’s no shortage of Eagles championship merch at the store.
“We have hoodies, we have Super Bowl championship shirts. We have everything you need,” she said.
The store in Delaware County also opened at 8 a.m. — and has been since the NFC Championship win — to get fans all the swag they need.
Two fans there on Monday were Max Palmer and his wife Hannah, who he converted into an Eagles fan and was looking for her first jersey.
“I am very torn,” Hannah said. “I’m really leaning towards DeJean, because that play last night just blew our socks off, we were so excited jumping up and down screaming.”
DeJean, one of two Eagles standout rookie cornerbacks, had a pick six in the second quarter of Super Bowl LIX to make it 17-0 Eagles, and did it on his birthday.
In the city, the Eagles Pro Shop at Lincoln Financial Field was packed with fans getting their Super Bowl championship merch.
Some of those fans now live out of town like Denise, who’s in Florida, but came back for the game. She got some hats, a blanket, and a new Jalen Hurts shirt.
She’s also staying for the week, awaiting the parade.
“Oh god yeah I’m staying,” Denise said. “Staying all the way until Saturday. Go Birds!”
