FBI offering $25K reward amid search for man accused of killing wife, hiding body

The FBI has announced a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Miguel Angel Aguilar Ojeda, the man accused of killing his wife in Philadelphia last year.

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The FBI has announced a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man accused of killing his wife in Philadelphia last year.

Officials said Miguel Angel Aguilar Ojeda stabbed his wife, Ivelisse Lugo, to death on Oct. 27, 2024. He then wrapped her body in a blanket and a towel and hid it in the garage.

It happened on Elsnoire Street in the city’s Lawncrest neighborhood.

Ojeda, who has ties to Camden, Philly and Mexico, is considered armed and dangerous.

He is wanted on a federal arrest warrant. In addition to murder, he is also charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
