PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A fire at a condominium complex in Montgomery County triggered two alarms and destroyed three homes on Sunday.

Several people were displaced and had to go out into the cold overnight during a frost advisory.

The fire happened around 2:30 a.m. at the Heritage Park condominiums in Trappe, near Main Street in Collegeville.

Residents told NBC10 neighbors were banging on doors in the middle of the night, telling people to get out.

One neighbor said he called 9-1-1 after seeing the flames.

“I saw an orange glow in the side of my room, and I was like, ‘What’s that? That’s out of the ordinary.’ I peeked through my blinds, and it was an inferno. Complete inferno,” he said.

The fire was brought under control around 4:15 a.m. Fire officials said no one was hurt. There is no word yet on what caused the fire.
