PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The city's newest public space, FloatLab, is like walking on water.

The 75-foot-wide, highlighter-yellow circular platform traveled all the way from North Carolina, and arrived at its home on the Schuylkill River Wednesday morning.

Designed by artist J. Meejin Yoon and Höweler + Yoon Architecture in conjunction with Bartram’s Garden and Mural Arts Philadelphia, the structure is a public space where you can walk along the circular path and get a unique, water's-eye view of the river. FloatLab's designed to ebb and flow with the natural river tides.

FloatLab is expected to open to the public in September, but until then you can check it out from afar along the river banks.
