NEW JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — Four people have been arrested in connection with the killing of Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office Detective Sgt. Monica Mosley.
Mosley was killed during a home invasion at her house in Bridgeton on Oct. 15 and was laid to rest Saturday after a ceremony at Bridgeton High School.
The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office says four people are now charged in her death.
Nyshaw Mutcherson, 29, of Vineland; Jarred Brown, 31, of Bridgeton; and Richard Willis, 32, of Gloucester City are each facing first-degree murder, burglary and related offenses. Cyndia Pimentel, 38, of Paulsboro, is charged with hindering investigation, obstruction of justice and tampering with evidence.
Cape May Prosecutor Jeffery Sutherland says his office remains resolute in their commitment to ensuring those responsible for this horrific act are held accountable.
New Jersey Attorney General Matt Platkin says while nothing can bring back Mosley, they hope these focused and coordinated efforts help comfort her family in knowing justice is being pursued.
Court dates for the defendants have not yet been announced.
