PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has reached a major milestone in his pledge to improve air conditioning in Philadelphia schools.
Through his Jalen Hurts Foundation, Hurts pledged $5,000 for each touchdown scored this season. With 10 rushing and 12 passing touchdowns so far, he has raised a total of $110,000.
The money goes toward his foundation’s Keep It Cool Initiative, which helps purchase or replace air conditioning units in Philly schools.
Hurts has pledged to contribute a minimum of $200,000 this season for his TDs for ACs campaign.
