Jodie Milkman, executive VP of Delaware River Waterfront Corporation, dies at 55

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Jodie Milkman, executive vice president of the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation, died Friday of ovarian cancer.

Milkman had been at DRWC for more than 30 years and in that time brought to life the waterfront's annual IBX Blue Cross River Rink and fireworks show on New Year's Eve.

Overall, her work helped make Penn's Landing a premier spot for both city residents and tourists to visit year-round.

Milkman was 55. She is survived by her husband Sam and three children.
