PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — It won’t be long until children return to school. COVID-19 safety will certainly dominate the conversation, but there are other concerns beyond the virus.
At the top of the list is preparing children to return to a regular schedule. One of the biggest issues is sleep and schedules. During the last half of the summer, it is important to develop an earlier bedtime to allow enough sleep to get up early enough for school.
Another issue for many is also returning to a healthy breakfast to start the day. Remember, children won’t be able to graze during the day like they may have done taking classes online.
It is difficult to change habits a few days before school starts. Fortunately, there is plenty of time if you think about it now.
