PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — There are many people who will not be disappointed to see 2020 fade away, including any front-line health care workers.
One of the best parts about being in health care is that we have acquired a great deal of book knowledge as well as real life experience, and can use that knowledge to help others and improve the lives of the people we have the honor to serve.
But 2020 has been cruel. Early on, we knew a great deal about the virus but often were met with debate and denials.
There have been many victories, but deaths in the hundreds of thousands have made the victories seem hollow.
So, yes, like many of us, I want to forget 2020 with one exception: we should never forget those we lost and gain energy from the courage of so many.
