In the past several weeks since omicron burst onto the scene, the variant has been virtually impossible to ignore. As a major public health concern, it was important to share potentially lifesaving information.
We have already learned a great deal about vaccines and protection. Each day, we learn about how aggressive the omicron variant may be.
Another lesson: We may need to make quicker therapeutic decisions than we like as the pandemic continues. Fortunately, we have sophisticated testing available to help guide us as we make these decisions.
