PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Discipline and denial are tough for any of us, especially over a prolonged period of time.
The battle against COVID-19 has been compared to a war — even the term battle suggests bearing arms, or in this case, baring arms for the vaccine.
In the U.K., leaders have compared living with COVID-19 to living through the bombings of WW2.
A growing number of families have lost jobs and many who have them mostly work alone at home, looking at computer monitors or out on the front lines wondering when they will breathe in the virus.
A natural reaction is to rebel, scream out that no one can tell me to wear a mask.
But the vaccines are being distributed, and this is truly like a marathon. We are getting closer to the finish line, but the final miles are the toughest to complete.
