Levittown man sentenced to at least 65 years behind bars for drugging, raping women

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — A Levittown man who admitted to secretly drugging, then raping several women he met online over a six-year period will likely spend the rest of his life in prison.

Andrew Gallo, 41, was sentenced on Wednesday to 65 to 135 years in state prison after pleading no contest in December to 10 counts of rape and related charges.

Gallo found the women on sites like Tinder or SugarDaddyMeet. They said after they had drinks at his home, they were unable to resist what they described as violent sexual encounters, including choking and hitting.

The women tested positive for methamphetamine or MDMA, though they never consented to taking those drugs. From 2018 to 2024, Gallo had targeted 12 women between the ages of 17 and 35, but two left or resisted his advances.

While Gallo’s lawyer said the encounters started on “hook-up” websites and not dating apps, Bucks County First Assistant District Attorney Kristen McElroy said that made no difference.

“If you find another consenting person that wants to do that, that's fair game, and you can feel free to do that,” she said. “The defendant took away these women's ability to consent to that when he gave them drugs.”

Bucks County Judge Stephen Corr told Gallo there is no ‘bulk discount’, as he issued the sentence that will keep Gallo ineligible for parole until he is 105 years old.

“I appreciate the judge considering each of these victims individually,” said McElroy. “I agree with the sentiment [that] you don't get a bulk discount just because you sexually abuse this many women, so I think it was a completely appropriate sentence.”

Gallo told the court he was addicted to meth, alcohol, pornography and sex, and pleaded no contest rather than guilty because his memory of the events was foggy. However, the judge told him he treated people like trash, intentionally and deliberately preying on younger women.

“He was just trying to pretend to be a charming single man looking for women and these women thought they actually found a nice guy,” McElroy said, “and then what happened to them is what nightmares are made of.”
