PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — There is a peacock on the loose in Montgomery County, and police do not want you to try to catch it.
It was spotted in the area of Frederick and Robert roads on Thursday. Police in Lower Moreland Township tried to wrangle it but were unsuccessful.
Wildlife experts warn the peacock might be aggressive because it’s mating season.
They expect the bird will return to its home on its own, but anyone who may know its owner is asked to contact police.
