PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A 24-year-old Philadelphia man has been arrested for allegedly burglarizing two homes and trying to do the same to a third — reportedly the home of Eagles running back Saquon Barkley.

Montgomery County officials said Jabir Parker committed the burglaries in Montgomery and Chester counties between June 22 and July 18.

Parker robbed houses in Bryn Mawr and Wynnewood while the owners weren't home, officials said. But when he tried to break into a Malvern home, said to be Barkley's, he woke up the residents, and they called 911. Parker didn't manage to take anything.

In the first two burglaries, authorities said Parker stole a total of 40 pieces of jewelry worth nearly $800,000, even lifting one victim's entire safe.

Parker was arrested on Tuesday after investigators subpoenaed phone usage at each date, time and location in question and placed him there on the night of each incident. They also captured his voice on a nanny cam and said he made several Google searches related to the alleged robberies.

He has been charged with felonies related to burglary, trespass and theft. He's due in court next week.

Police are still searching for additional suspects.
