PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are looking for a pair of suspects after an 82-year-old man was hit over the head and carjacked when he was leaving the Willow Grove Park Mall in Willow Grove, Montgomery County.
Abington Township Police said he was walking through the parking lot to his truck when he was hit by a hard object.
Officials believe two teenagers then forced him to the ground and told him, “This is a hold up. Give us all your money.”
The keys to his truck and a gift he had just purchased for his wife were stolen before, investigators say, the pair took off in his red 2008 Ford Ranger pick-up.
It has Pennsylvania license plate YVG-3700.
