Man charged with breaking into South Jersey house, peering into other homes

SOUTH JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — Winslow Township police arrested a man who was wanted for allegedly breaking into a house and peering into the windows of other homes on multiple occasions.

The first incident happened in February. Police say a Sicklerville woman called 911 because a man broke into her home and tried to force her into her bedroom. He left before the police arrived.

She called the police again in May to report the same man looking into her windows, but he was gone by the time authorities got there.

Police say he peered into the windows of a few other houses throughout August.

Danny McEaddy, 39, was finally arrested last month and now faces several charges, including burglary and peering into windows.

Anyone else who may have seen a man peeking into their windows but didn't previously report it is asked to contact Winslow Township Detective Jeffrey Wyld at 609-567-0700, ext. 1200, or jwyld@winslowpd.com.
