PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A New Jersey man is facing criminal charges after he allegedly assaulted an Easter Bunny performer at a mall in Pittsburgh.
According to the criminal complaint, 36-year-old Bera Shivakrishna fondled a woman dressed as the Easter Bunny on Monday at the South Hills Village Mall, KDKA Newsradio reported. He also stuck his fingers in the nose and mouth of the costume, the complaint said.
Police later found Shivakrishna asleep in the AMC Theater next to the mall.
He was arrested and charged with indecent assault.
