PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man is dead and another is injured after a shooting in the city's Mantua neighborhood Saturday night.

It happened just after 6:30 p.m. on North 32nd Street near Haverford Avenue. Police say when they got to the scene, they found a man in his late 20s to early 30s inside a black Nissan Maxima shot multiple times throughout his body.

“It was clear there were no signs of life at that time,” said Police Inspector D.F. Pace.

Officials say the other victim, a 39-year-old man, was an innocent bystander. He was shot in the leg and taken to a hospital, where he's in stable condition.

Pace says they believe there were two gunmen and that this was a targeted attack.

So far, no one has been arrested and no weapons have been recovered.
