Man wanted for impersonating officer in Chester County, police say

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Pennsylvania State Police are looking for a man who impersonated a police officer and pulled someone over in Chester County.

It happened on Friday around 6:30 a.m. The victim was driving on Route 1 near Upper Oxford Township when a black Cadillac Escalade started following for several miles.


The driver of the Cadillac then flashed a red and blue bubble light from the roof to stop the victim.

The suspect is described as a man in his 40s, 6 feet, 2 inches tall, with black hair. He was wearing a police-style uniform with a badge.
