PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man is recovering at a hospital after being shot early Monday morning in Fox Chase.
According to police, a little before 3 a.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in the left wrist near a Wawa on Oxford Avenue. He ran into the Wawa for help, and store employees called 911 for the man.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay. Police have not released any further details on what happened or why the man was shot. There have been no arrests.
