
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are looking for the person who killed a pedestrian in a hit-and-run Friday in the Fox Chase section of the city.
They say it happened shortly before 8 p.m. near Veeree Road and Bloomfield Avenue.
Officers processing another scene found an unidentified man in his 60s lying in the street surrounded by debris. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Surveillance video from a nearby gas station showed the man struck by a dark-colored Ford Edge. Police believe the man was homeless.
