PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A 23-year-old man was killed in a shootout in Kensington Monday night, according to police.
It happened around 9:20 p.m. along East Willard Street, near F Street.
Police believe the victim was involved in a shootout with two other people. He was pronounced dead at the hospital a short time later.
Police said the two other gunmen fled the scene but were found smashing windows at a home a few blocks away on Madison Street. Cops caught them running out the back door and took them into custody.
Authorities found one gun and are looking for more. They recovered nearly two dozen spent shell casings at the scene.
Investigators have not revealed a motive or the identities of the three gunmen.
