PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A 30-year-old man is in critical condition after police said he lost control of his car early Sunday morning while driving down Roosevelt Boulevard.
Police said around 2:45 a.m., a 1999 gold Acura RL was traveling south in the outer lane of the boulevard when it lost control, vaulted the curb, and plowed into a car parked in the lot in front of the Roosevelt Inn.
No one was in the car parked in the lot. The driver of the Acura sustained multiple injuries.
They said the impact destroyed both cars and sent debris through the glass window of the motel.
