ARDMORE, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — Haverford Township police are investigating a shooting in Ardmore Thursday afternoon.
Police Chief John Viola said around 3:40 p.m., a man was shot in the groin during some sort of altercation at a memorial service at the Palombaro Club on East County Line Road.
The shooter ran off.
Viola said the man who was shot was conscious when he was taken to Lankenau Medical Center. There’s is no further update on his current condition.
Viola said they’re working to identify the shooter and get information as to who was behind it.
