TACONY (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are investigating after a man was shot while sitting in a car outside a home in Northeast Philadelphia Friday morning.
Authorities said the 47-year man was inside his vehicle just before 4:30 outside a house on Ditman Street, just off Magee Avenue in Tacony, when he heard gunshots and then felt a warmth on his head.
Officials said he was able to get out of his car and go inside the house to call for help. The man was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
Police are still looking for a motive and are still looking for any suspects.
