NEW JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — Gloucester County authorities are investigating a police-involved shooting on Thanksgiving Day.
The prosecutor's office says Deptford Township police were called to the Fairfield Inn on Hurffville Road early in the afternoon Thursday. After they arrived, a man whose identity has not been released jumped from the second floor, eluded the officers and ran to Route 42.
Prosecutors say at some point in the chase, police shot the man. He is being treated for non-life-threatening.
