PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man was shot while spray-painting his car outside his house in Kensington.
It happened around midnight on East Monmouth Street, near Emerald Street.
“According to witnesses, while the victim was spray-painting his vehicle, the shooter walked up and, for some unknown reason, fired four shots,” said Chief Inspector Scott Small.
The 36-year-old victim was hit in the arm and the lower back. He was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle and is in stable condition.
The shooter ran away. Police are reviewing private surveillance video to try to identify him.
