PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man was stabbed on a packed SEPTA bus in Old City early Friday morning.
It happened around 2 a.m. near Third and Race streets. There were about 35 people on the bus at the time.
“There was some sort of argument that led to a physical altercation,” said Chief Inspector Scott Small, “and our perpetrator then pulled what appeared to be a box cutter and sliced, stabbed our victim on the top of his head.”
The 39-year-old victim is in stable condition.
The offender got off the bus and fled, but SEPTA police arrested him about two blocks away.
Police said the 43-year-old man was wanted on at least one warrant in Delaware.
