PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man has been critically injured after police said he was hit by a Philadelphia Gas Works vehicle Wednesday afternoon.
Police said the accident happened around 1 near the intersection of East Wyoming and Castor avenues, in the Crescentville neighborhood of Northeast Philly.
According to authorities, the PGW vehicle hit a man. Medics arrived on scene shortly thereafter and rushed the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
Police said the driver stayed on scene. An investigation is underway.
