PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Authorities are looking for a man who may have tried to lure a child into his vehicle in Concord Township, Delaware County.
The Pennsylvania State Police Media Barracks said a 10-year-old child was riding a scooter along Andrien Road in Glen Mills around 4:15 p.m. Thursday when a man in his 50s or 60s stopped his older-model tan sedan and allegedly told the kid to come closer to the vehicle.
He then asked about the kid’s scooter.
Police said a resident got involved and confronted the driver, who then drove off.
Officials said that shortly after that incident, surveillance video showed a black sedan stop briefly in the same area before pulling away.
Investigators are looking into the possibility that the child was followed by both the tan car and the black car.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Pennsylvania State Police Media Station.
