
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are trying to find the drive-by shooter who fired into a house in Ogontz Thursday night, wounding two people.
It happened in the 5900 block of North 15 Street just after 10 p.m. Police said a man driving by fired nearly two dozen shots toward a house.
A 49-year-old woman inside a bedroom was hit in the left leg. A 25-year-old man was found on the porch with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
Both were taken to the hospital for treatment, where the woman is reportedly in critical condition. The man’s condition is not yet known.
Investigators recovered 21 9mm shell casings and one rifle round from the scene. Detectives also recovered a vehicle about a mile away in the 900 block of Church Lane.
Police said the investigation remains “very active.”
