NEW JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — A 76-year-old woman has been charged in connection with a fatal hit-and-run on New Year’s Eve.
Investigators say Marylin Glenn, of Wildwood Crest, fled the scene after hitting a pedestrian near the intersection of West Hand and Hudson avenues in Wildwood but called police shortly after.
“Leaving the scene of an accident is not only unlawful but also undermines the principles of public safety and responsibility. We extend our deepest condolences to the family of the victim as we continue to pursue justice in this matter,” said Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland.
Glenn is facing multiple charges. She was jailed and released with pre-trial monitoring before another court appearance.
