PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Health officials in Bucks County are warning of a possible measles exposure at a Starbucks in Newtown.
Officials said an infected person visited the Starbucks at 2896 S. Eagle Road while they might have been contagious. It happened between 10:50 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on March 19.
Health officials said the infected individual is an adult who lives in Bucks County and is vaccinated. The person had recently traveled to Texas, where there is an active measles outbreak. At least 370 people have been infected.
Starbucks said the Newtown store closed for cleaning and will reopen Friday.
Anyone who visited that Starbucks store during this period should monitor for symptoms, which generally begin to appear within 10 to 14 days of exposure.
