PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — If you have become overweight, you know it did not happen overnight. Yes, our metabolism can change, but it is more likely that we have shifted our eating patterns over time.
The problem is that we don’t usually think about what we ate yesterday — let alone two weeks ago. However, this information is very important. If you are thinking about losing weight this summer, start tracking your daily exercise patterns as well as your diet.
A food diary is a great idea. Start to write down what you eat as well as what time of day you are eating. This will help you get a sense of what you do every day — and it will make you think twice about what you are eating.
