
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Two men have been indicted by federal officials in a string of armed robberies in North Philadelphia between November and December 2021.
Omar White-Davis, 28, and Acia Moore, 20, are accused of robbing several small businesses in Feltonville and Juniata, totaling more than $3,000 in cash.
Authorities say they targeted Latino-owned businesses. One restaurant was even hit twice in two days.
White-Davis has prior robbery, assault and burglary convictions from 2017. He was sentenced and released from prison in October 2020.
If convicted, the pair could face the rest of their lives in prison and more than $1 million in fines.
