PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police say three people, including an 11-year-old, are injured following a triple shooting in the West Passyunk neighborhood of Philadelphia.

Authorities say it happened near Mifflin and South 23rd streets just before 8 p.m. Friday. An 11-year-old girl, as well as a 22-year-old man and 55-year-old woman, were shot.

They were all taken to local hospitals and are expected to recover. No arrests have been made at this time and no weapon has been recovered.

According to authorities, the incident happened less than a mile from – and less than an hour after – a double shooting in Point Breeze.

Two men, ages 21 and 28, were each shot twice. Both were taken to a hospital and are in stable condition.
