NEW JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — A 22-year-old New Jersey man pleaded guilty to a murder in Upper Bucks County.

Anthony Gamble of Somerset, New Jersey pleaded guilty to third-degree murder and conspiracy to commit robbery in connection with the June 2021 stabbing death of 26-year-old Kevin Rosero.

Anthony and his then-17-year-old brother, Joshua Gamble, were arrested just after midnight on June 17 in Richland Township when state police saw their car on the side of Pumping Station Road with its hazard lights on. A rental car was parked nearby in the entrance to a quarry.

Both Anthony and Joshua were hiding in the woods and, when found, they had blood on their shoes and clothes.

Police saw what they described as a substantial amount of blood in the rental car. They found Rosero’s body not far from the car. An autopsy determined he’d been stabbed 28 times in the face, neck and upper body.

Police also found a receipt for cleaning supplies and rubber gloves from a 7-Eleven.

Joshua was charged as an adult and pleaded guilty last year to robbery, conspiracy, and related charges.

Both are scheduled to be sentenced next month.
