PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Officials say a woman was found dead inside a row home that caught fire Friday night.
About 60 firefighters responded to the home along the 2700 block of West Oakdale Street just before 9 p.m.
There, they found a 35-year-old woman dead on the second floor of the home. Her exact cause of death has not yet been released. The Medical Examiner is looking into it.
The blaze was under control by 9:30 p.m. Three firefighters were injured and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. They are all listed in stable condition.
What sparked the fire is not yet known. An investigation is underway.
