PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — An early-morning fire ripped through four homes in Olney.
The fire broke out around 3 a.m. in one row home at Third and Wellens streets, near Morrison School on Duncannon Avenue.
The heavy flames and smoke spread to three other homes. The four row homes in the middle of the block are damaged — walls charred, windows blown out, burnt rooftops torn up.
Everyone got out safely, and no one was hurt. Red Cross volunteers are trying to get a sense of just how many people are displaced.
Fire marshals are investigating the cause of the fire.
