HARRISBURG (KYW Newsradio) — A Pennsylvania State corporal faces hundreds of new charges after officials said he kept files of pornography, including child sexual abuse material and lewd images and videos he created using artificial intelligence.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday announced the charges on Wednesday against Stephen Kamnik, 38, of Havertown.

Kamnik is accused of secretly filming dozens of people he encountered while on duty, and for repeatedly entering a women's locker room at state police barracks and taking photos.

Authorities said Kamnik used company computers to create AI-generated pornography, some of which depicted children.

The corporal, who is currently suspended without pay, was previously charged with similar offenses, but they were withdrawn and replaced with the new ones announced on Wednesday.
