PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) —  A Pennsylvania woman drowned after being swept over a waterfall in Montana's Glacier National Park this weekend.

Authorities say the 26-year-old fell into the water above St. Mary Falls on the park's east side around 5:30 p.m. Sunday and was washed over the 35-foot waterfall.

Bystanders pulled the woman from the water and administered CPR until emergency responders got there. She was pronounced dead about an hour and a half later.

Her name is being withheld until family members can be notified.

The woman's death comes just days after a couple from Chester County drowned after being caught in a rip current while vacationing in Florida with their six kids.
