PECO customers still unable to view accounts online as utility company updates its billing system

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — PECO customers will have to wait a little bit longer to access its online billing system, as the utility company continues its conversion to an updated program.

There was a scheduled outage on Feb. 14 and the plan was to restore the system Wednesday, but a PECO spokesperson said it is taking longer than expected.

At this point, the spokesperson said PECO doesn’t have an estimate for when the full system conversion will be done. In the meantime, PECO said customers won’t be charged late fees or be disconnected during the process.

Customers can still make payments and start, stop or move service with PECO over the phone.
